Alien Spinvasion — Rival
Alien Spinvasion is a pokie from Rival released in 2017. It uses a comedic sci-fi invasion theme in which aliens attack Earth and players watch military forces battle extraterrestrial ships across the reels.
The game uses 5 reels and 3 rows with 50 paylines. Reviews list RTP at about 95.98%, volatility at medium-high and gameplay centred on Sticky Wilds, respins, multipliers and bonus Free Spins. It suits users who enjoy classic video pokies with many lines and a colourful arcade theme.
Game features
- Free Spins
- Wild symbols
- Scatter symbols
- Sticky Wilds
- Respins
- Win multipliers
- Drop Symbols
A Wild substitutes for regular symbols in winning combinations. If a Wild contributes to a win, it can become a Sticky Wild, lock in place and trigger a free respin. If another Wild lands during the respin and again contributes to a win, it can also lock while the sequence continues.
A special multiplier meter increases during these respins. The longer the sequence continues, the more anticipation builds around the next result. Free Spins activate when three Scatter symbols land. Drop Symbols can appear during the free spins, falling onto the reels and adding new symbols to the game.
Theme and style
The pokie uses a space-arcade style. Alien Spinvasion features an alien invasion, military bases, flying saucers, green aliens and the defence of Earth. The presentation resembles a light science-fiction comedy rather than dark sci-fi horror.
Alien Spinvasion belongs to the space, alien, arcade and video pokie categories. It suits players who prefer a clear 5×3 grid, many paylines and bonus features without a complicated multi-stage system.
The reels feature aliens, a military commander, spaceships, themed sci-fi symbols and card values. With 50 paylines, the base game remains active even before bonuses appear.
Popularity among players
Alien Spinvasion appears in casinos across various markets and is particularly visible among players from Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. It attracts Rival fans, space-theme players and users who enjoy classic pokies with many lines.
Players often choose it for Sticky Wilds, respins and bonus Free Spins. Alien Spinvasion avoids modern extras such as bonus buys or complex progressive systems, but remains dynamic through locking Wilds and Drop Symbols.
