The main feature is Battle Rounds. This bonus mode is triggered by Shield Scatter symbols. After activation, the player chooses one side of the battle and then receives a series of rounds where the result depends on banners from the selected army and special symbols.
Bonus features
The Wild substitutes for regular paying symbols and helps form winning combinations. Scatter symbols are linked to Battle Rounds and are the key to the main bonus feature.
The player begins Battle Rounds with a limited number of lives. A suitable army symbol awards a win, while an unsuccessful result costs one life. Heart symbols can add extra lives and extend the bonus round. This makes the feature more interactive than standard free spins with no choice of side.
Theme and style
Blood and Gold uses a fantasy-war style. The reels show royal characters, shields, banners, weapons, fortresses and card symbols. The game fits categories such as fantasy pokies, medieval pokies, adventure pokies and video pokies.
The pokie suits users who enjoy battles, castles and mythical conflict. It has no Megaways or cluster system, but it does offer a clear payline format, Wild, Scatter and a bonus mode where players choose a side.
Popularity among players
Blood and Gold may appeal to players in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, Norway, Sweden and New Zealand. The medieval fantasy theme suits users who choose Lightning Box pokies with adventurous visuals and bonus rounds.
The game is designed for players who prefer 25 paylines, medium volatility, Wild, Scatter, the Battle Feature and a traditional 5×3 grid without overloaded modern mechanics.

Blood and Gold is available free on Free Slots Demo. Demo mode lets players test Wild, Scatter, Battle Rounds, the 25 paylines and the basic 5×3 mechanics with no registration or real-money play.
The game runs on desktop and mobile devices. Its HTML5 format keeps the same reel structure, medieval presentation, quick pace and bonus features across different screens.
