Amaterasu Keno is a Mascot Gaming keno game released on 17 February 2022. It uses an Asian style with Japanese motifs, cherry blossoms and the goddess Amaterasu. This is not a reel-based pokie but a lottery and keno game where the result depends on matching selected numbers.

The field contains 80 numbers. Players select from 1 to 10 numbers, after which the system draws 20 winning numbers. The payout depends on the number of matches. The RTP is 95.7%, volatility is high and catalogues list bets from 0.20 to 50 per round.

Game features

• Free Games
• Keno mechanics
• Lottery format
• Asian Theme
• Sakura Theme
• Mobile Gaming

The main mechanic is classic keno. Players choose numbers on the field in advance, wait for the draw and receive a payout when their selections match the drawn numbers.

Lucky Number adds another layer to the base game. According to the official Mascot Gaming description, 3 numbers are chosen at random and can provide a total win multiplier of up to x10. This makes each round more varied and adds a chance to increase the payout.

Free Games activate through the Last Number rule. This feature adds free rounds and makes Amaterasu Keno more dynamic than standard keno games without bonus options.

Theme and style

Amaterasu Keno uses an Asian theme. The visuals feature Japan, cherry blossoms, traditional decorative elements and the mythological image of Amaterasu. The game appears calmer than many video pokies while retaining bright presentation and a clear interface.

It fits keno, lottery games, Asian games, Japanese-themed games and casino games. For the Free Slots Demo catalogue it can be described as a keno game within the pokies section because it uses a casino-game format, demo mode and HTML5 support across devices.

Amaterasu Keno suits users who want number-based mechanics rather than standard reels, with simple rules, quick rounds and the additional Lucky Number and Free Games features.

Popularity among players

Amaterasu Keno may appeal to players from the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and New Zealand. Keno games are often chosen by users who enjoy a lottery format, selecting their own numbers and a clear payout system.

The game is often launched to test 95.7% RTP, high volatility, Lucky Number, Free Games and the Japanese cherry-blossom theme. Unlike ordinary pokies, it has no reels, paylines or standard Wild symbols. The main appeal comes from choosing numbers and waiting for matches.

High volatility means results can be sharp: some rounds produce no notable payout, while successful matches and the Lucky Number multiplier can significantly change the result.
