Amaterasu Keno is a keno game by Mascot Gaming released on 17 February 2022. The game is presented in an Asian style with Japanese motifs, cherry blossoms and the image of the goddess Amaterasu. It is not a classic reel slot but a lottery / keno game in which the result depends on matching selected numbers.

The playing field contains 80 numbers. The player selects from 1 to 10 numbers, after which the system draws 20 winning numbers. The payout depends on the number of matches. RTP is 95.7%, volatility is stated as high and the betting range in catalogues is 0.20 to 50 per round.

The main mechanic is based on classic keno. The player selects numbers on the field in advance, then waits for the draw and receives a payout if the chosen numbers match those drawn.

The Lucky Number feature adds another layer to the base game. According to Mascot Gaming’s official description, the game randomly selects 3 numbers that can award a total win multiplier of up to x10. This makes every round more varied and adds a chance to boost the payout.

Free Games are activated by the Last Number rule. This feature adds free rounds and makes Amaterasu Keno more dynamic than ordinary keno games without bonus options.

Theme and style

Amaterasu Keno is designed with an Asian theme. The visuals use motifs of Japan, cherry blossoms, traditional decorative elements and the mythological image of Amaterasu. The game looks calmer than many video slots while retaining a bright presentation and clear interface.

The game belongs to the following categories: keno, lottery games, Asian games, Japanese-themed games and video slots. For the Free Slots Demo catalogue, it can be described as a keno game within the slots section because it uses a casino-game format, demo mode and HTML5 play across different devices.

Amaterasu Keno will suit users who want to try number-based mechanics instead of standard reels, with simple rules, quick rounds and the additional Lucky Number and Free Games features.

Popularity among players

Amaterasu Keno may appeal to players from the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and New Zealand. Keno games are often chosen by users who enjoy a lottery format, selecting their own numbers and a clear payout system.

Players often launch the game to test its 95.7% RTP, high volatility, Lucky Number, Free Games and Japanese cherry-blossom theme. Unlike ordinary slots, there are no reels, paylines or standard Wild symbols. The main interest comes from selecting numbers and waiting for matches.

High volatility means results can vary sharply: some rounds pass without notable payouts, but successful matches and the Lucky Number multiplier can significantly change the outcome.
