Beam Boys — Hacksaw Gaming
Beam Boys is a video slot by Hacksaw Gaming, released in 2024. The game uses an unusual futuristic theme: mechanical cats, laser beams, a dark colour palette, neon styling and a humorous idea about kittens with laser pointers create a distinctive atmosphere for a modern slot.
The game grid consists of 6 reels and 4 rows. Instead of fixed paylines, the game uses a 4096 ways-to-win system. The main version has an RTP of 96.35%, while Extreme mode is listed at 96.26%, and operators may also offer lower-RTP versions. Volatility is switchable: Normal / Low is designed for more frequent smaller wins, while Extreme is aimed at rarer but larger payouts. The maximum win reaches 12500x the bet.

The main slot mechanic is Wild Rows. Wild Laser Cat can appear on reels 2–6 and fire a laser beam to the left along the same row. Every position covered by the cat or the beam becomes Wild and helps form winning combinations. These Wilds appear more often in the bonus game, making Free Spins a key part of the game’s potential.
Theme and style
Beam Boys uses a sci-fi and robotic style. The reels feature mechanical cats, laser beams, trophy-like loot, card symbols, Scatter FS and dark futuristic elements. The game falls into categories such as cat slots, robot-themed slots, laser slots, sci-fi slots and video slots.
Hacksaw Gaming uses a minimalist and high-contrast visual style: a black-and-white base is combined with bright laser effects. The slot does not rely on a classic fruit or beach theme and instead focuses on spreading Wild mechanics, switchable volatility and a fast pace.
Popularity among players
Beam Boys appears especially often in public data for Canada, Finland, New Zealand and Norway, and may also appeal to players in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and Australia. The Hacksaw Gaming format suits players who enjoy modern high-potential slots with an unusual theme and the option to choose a risk level.
The slot is suitable for players who enjoy 4096 ways, Wild Rows, Free Spins, Bonus Buy, FeatureSpins, switchable volatility and a high maximum win of up to 12500x.
